The integration connects Solana’s network to Polygon’s robust payment infrastructure, which includes 37 state money transmitter licenses and 11 exemptions in the United States. By utilizing this stack, businesses can accept bank transfers, credit cards, and cash, converting these traditional funds into digital assets like USDC, USDT, and PYUSD. The service supports seamless routing between Solana, TRON, and various Ethereum Virtual Machine (EVM) networks, enabling users to move assets without managing complex liquidity pools or bridges.

Solana Integrates Polygon Open Money Stack for Stablecoin Payments
Solana Foundation President Lily Liu declared the network “unblocked and unmuted” following the October 29 launch of a strategic integration with Polygon’s Open Money Stack. The partnership allows Solana-based businesses to bridge traditional banking services, such as deposits and payouts, directly with the high-speed blockchain’s stablecoin ecosystem.
Financial technology firms like Kira are already leveraging these tools to facilitate cross-border transactions and supplier payments. Edrizio De La Cruz, CEO of Kira, noted that the connection simplifies the process of converting stablecoin transfers into fiat currency for bank accounts. This rollout follows Solana's appointment of former Polygon executive Jamal Raees as general manager of payments, signaling a push to capture more enterprise-grade financial volume. With the network reporting over $5 trillion in stablecoin transaction volume during 2026, the collaboration aims to embed custodial and virtual account services directly into the Solana user experience.
