Stripe Expands Global Stablecoin Payouts to 160 Markets
U.S.-based businesses can now process instant cross-border payments directly to external crypto wallets across more than 160 markets. The service, currently in public preview, enables transfers in USDC or OUSD, significantly undercutting traditional SWIFT wire fees for smaller transaction volumes while bypassing conventional banking rails.

Despite the global reach of the rollout, businesses headquartered in New York remain excluded from the current preview, with no firm timeline for state-level access. Neetika Bansal, Stripe’s business lead for Money as a Service, noted that the feature integrates with existing Treasury and Issuing products. This allows firms to utilize hosted APIs for diverse applications, ranging from loan disbursements and remittances to investment withdrawals and neobank cash-outs.
