Blockchain analytics firm Lookonchain flagged the two transactions, totaling 4,259 BTC, as they moved from addresses marked as convertible-note collateral. While the scale of the transfer suggests a significant change in position, Trump Media has historically utilized Crypto.com and Anchorage Digital for custody and trading management rather than immediate sell-offs. Similar movements earlier this year, involving 2,650 BTC in May and 2,628 BTC in August, were categorized by the firm as internal rebalancing rather than asset disposals.

Trump Media Shifts $343 Million in Bitcoin to Crypto.com
A sudden movement of 4,259 Bitcoin from wallets associated with Trump Media & Technology Group to the exchange Crypto.com has sparked speculation regarding a potential liquidation. The assets, valued at approximately $343.67 million, mirror the exact amount the company previously pledged as collateral for its outstanding convertible debt.

The timing, however, coincides with a looming financial deadline. Trump Media faces a potential cash repayment obligation on November 30, 2026, stemming from $1 billion in convertible notes issued last year. SEC filings indicate that if refinancing or equity financing options fall short, the company may be forced to sell its digital assets to meet these obligations. As of its second-quarter report, Trump Media held roughly 14,139 BTC in total, including both liquid holdings and assets restricted by debt agreements. The company has not yet provided a public statement regarding the purpose of this latest transfer.
