Zcash tests $1,370 resistance as traders eye $2,000
Zcash climbed to $1,388 on Nov. 6, recovering from a weekly low near $1,120 and gaining 7.11% on the day. The move carried ZEC above the $1,350–$1,370 area watched by analysts, but the token still faces resistance at $1,500 and around its previous peak near $1,700.

At 14:54 UTC, ZEC was trading at $1,372.20, up from an opening price of $1,281.11 after dipping to $1,247.83. The recovery brought it back to the upper edge of a range that repeatedly capped rallies through October and early November.
Analyst Ardi had said a break above $1,370 could set up a squeeze in short positions. On Nov. 6, he noted ZEC’s return to that level and pointed to pressure on shorts above the pivot. Altcoin Sherpa identified roughly $1,350 as the key support-and-resistance area, writing that a clear break could open a path to $2,000, with pullbacks along the way. He described Zcash’s relative strength as impressive and disclosed holding a spot position.
A move from $1,372.20 to $2,000 would require a gain of about 45.8%. Before that, ZEC would need to contend with resistance at $1,500 and the previous peak region around $1,700.
The daily chart showed price above the upper Bollinger Band, whose boundary was $1,364.33. The relative strength index stood at 58.42, above its average of 50.84 and the neutral 50 mark, but below the conventional overbought threshold of 70. A daily close above the $1,350–$1,388 area, followed by support on a pullback, would strengthen the breakout case; a drop back below it could leave the latest advance vulnerable to rejection.
On the weekly chart, ZEC was at $1,366.64 after touching $1,120.03 earlier in the week, a 10.70% gain with the candle still unfinished. Weekly ADX was 37.65, indicating established trend strength but not its direction. Murrey Math levels put $1,250 below the price, with resistance at $1,500 and then $1,750.
CoinGlass’s one-week liquidation heatmap showed estimated concentrations at $1,340–$1,350 and $1,365–$1,385 above the market. Forced buying from short liquidations can accelerate a rise, but the heatmap measures estimated exposure, not positions already closed. Lower concentrations at $1,260–$1,270 and $1,215–$1,220 could come into focus if the breakout fails. The daily Bollinger middle band at $1,240.82 is another support reference near $1,250; below it, the lower band at $1,117.31 sits close to the week’s low.
