Wahl Clipper Corporation Appoints First Non-Family CEO

Anton arrives at the Sterling, Illinois-based company with a track record of scaling heritage brands, most recently serving as President and CEO of Momentec Brands. During his seven-year tenure at Founder Sport Group, he oversaw a period of aggressive growth that more than doubled company revenue through strategic acquisitions and technological integration. His career history also includes senior leadership roles at The Valspar Corporation and Mars Petcare.

Mary Gail Gearns, Chair of the Board and a third-generation member of the Wahl family, emphasized that the appointment signals a new chapter while maintaining the family’s long-term ownership and active involvement. Anton will report directly to the Board of Directors, focusing on global strategy and product innovation. Cybulski, who held the interim CEO role, will remain with the firm as Chief Financial Officer to assist with the leadership transition.
