Univers Launches Physical AI Platform for Industrial Infrastructure

Singapore-based Univers has debuted a next-generation platform designed to govern and automate mission-critical physical operations. The system targets energy, transportation, and industrial sectors, aiming to bridge the gap between digital generative AI and the high-stakes reality of managing complex, large-scale infrastructure assets in real time.

Univers Launches Physical AI Platform for Industrial Infrastructure

The platform distinguishes itself by moving beyond digital-only workflows. It models intricate relationships between energy flows, operational constraints, and business objectives, providing a framework for deploying agentic and autonomous AI. By integrating these models, the company intends to help enterprises transform fragmented data into coordinated intelligence, ensuring that decisions made by AI systems remain reliable within physical environments where errors carry significant real-world consequences.

Currently, Univers manages over 1,000 GW of energy assets and connects more than 400 million devices globally. Chun Yin Mak, Senior Vice President at Univers, argues that the next phase of corporate competitiveness hinges on the ability to build compounding intelligence. According to Mak, organizations must move past simple AI adoption toward systems that continuously learn, adapt, and automate decisions. This platform acts as the foundation for such scaling, enabling companies to sense and act across their infrastructure with greater precision.
