The new Stablecoin Account feature allows businesses to store digital dollars directly within their financial dashboard, eliminating the need for separate crypto wallets or exchanges. Through Ramp Bill Pay, companies can fund transactions from U.S. dollar bank accounts, which are then converted to stablecoins for delivery to recipient wallets. Alternatively, funds can be settled in over 40 local currencies, providing flexibility for organizations that prefer not to hold digital assets on their balance sheets.
According to Ramp, more than 1,000 businesses already utilize stablecoins for vendor payments, with 70% of that volume occurring outside standard banking hours. Pravesh Mansharamani, CEO of Totalis, noted that programmable, on-chain treasury management serves as a superior alternative to conventional banking rails. Beyond payment utility, the platform offers rewards of up to 3.25% on eligible stablecoin balances, which Ramp classifies as cash-backed digital dollars intended for treasury management rather than speculative investment.
