Zillow Faces Securities Class Action Over Alleged Redfin Misstatements

Investors who purchased Zillow Group, Inc. stock between February 11, 2025, and May 7, 2026, face an August 10, 2026, deadline to seek lead plaintiff status in a pending securities fraud lawsuit. The litigation, filed by Schall, Brown & Schwartz LLP, targets alleged misrepresentations regarding the company’s relationship with Redfin.

Zillow Faces Securities Class Action Over Alleged Redfin Misstatements

The complaint alleges that Zillow misled the market by framing its agreement with Redfin as a strategic partnership, when it functioned as an acquisition. According to the court filings, this characterization concealed significant antitrust risks that materialized after the deal was scrutinized. Shareholders claim the company intentionally downplayed its legal exposure even after formal antitrust proceedings were initiated, resulting in financial losses when the full scope of the situation became public.

Legal counsel Brian Schall and David Schwartz are inviting affected shareholders to review their options for recovery. While the class has not yet been certified, investors may participate in the action to address losses incurred during the specified period. Those interested in discussing the case or their rights as potential lead plaintiffs can contact the Los Angeles-based firm directly before the August deadline.
