Via Transportation Investors Face August 10 Deadline in Class Action

Investors who purchased Via Transportation shares following the company’s September 2025 initial public offering have until August 10, 2026, to file lead plaintiff applications. The securities class action, pending in the Southern District of New York, follows a sharp 70% decline in the company's stock price.

Via Transportation Investors Face August 10 Deadline in Class Action

The lawsuit, Garlesky v. Via Transportation, Inc., alleges that the firm’s registration statement and prospectus contained misleading information regarding its growth trajectory. According to the complaint, Via failed to disclose that customer acquisition was outpacing revenue generation, leading to the first drop in annual recurring revenue per user in eight quarters. Furthermore, the filing claims the company misrepresented its ability to deploy its full platform during a regulatory transition in Germany.

By the time legal action commenced, shares had fallen to $14.52 from the original offering price. Kahn Swick & Foti, LLC, the firm representing the plaintiffs, is inviting affected shareholders to discuss their legal options and potential recovery for economic losses. Interested parties may contact managing partner Lewis Kahn or visit the firm's website to review the details of the case before the court-mandated deadline.
