Corero Network Security Named a Leader in 2026 QKS DDoS Mitigation Matrix

Corero Network Security has secured a leadership position in the QKS Group’s 2026 SPARK Matrix for Distributed Denial of Service (DDoS) mitigation. The ranking highlights the company's shift away from traditional cloud-scrubbing models toward real-time, inline packet inspection designed to neutralize threats before they impact network availability.

The QKS Group assessment credits Corero’s SmartWall ONE platform for its ability to combine high-capacity packet inspection with behavior-based protection. According to QKS analyst Lokesh Biswal, the technology distinguishes itself by treating service availability as a live, inline challenge rather than a bulk scrubbing exercise. By performing line-rate inspection across layers 3 through 7, the platform stops multi-vector and zero-day attacks at the edge, maintaining ultra-low latency that traditional detect-and-divert services often struggle to match.

This recognition arrives as enterprises and ISPs increasingly demand systems capable of sustaining uptime in high-stakes environments. Carl Herberger, CEO of Corero, noted that the designation reflects the growing reliance on the company’s CORE and SmartWall ONE technologies. Headquartered in London and listed on the LSE and OTCQX, Corero continues to focus on automated, real-time defenses for complex edge and subscriber networks, aiming to provide business continuity where downtime is not an option.
