For decades, the automotive industry has separated the vehicle purchase from the accessory sale. While buyers frequently express intent to personalize their vehicles during the initial configuration, the lack of unified infrastructure has forced dealers to treat these items as an afterthought. Insignia Group’s new platform, ACE, seeks to bridge this divide by providing a managed service that integrates accessory sales into existing OEM configurators, digital retail tools, and dealer websites.

Insignia Group Launches ACE to Integrate Accessories into Vehicle Sales
The gap between customer interest in vehicle add-ons and the fragmented technology available to sell them has long hampered automotive retailers. Insignia Group aims to solve this with the launch of its Accessories Commerce Engine, a platform designed to embed accessory data, fitment logic, and visualization directly into buying journeys.

By leveraging two decades of proprietary data, the system automates complex tasks like multi-OEM data normalization and vehicle-specific fitment logic. CEO David Stringer noted that the platform replaces internal development cycles that typically span 18 to 24 months with a connection process that takes only weeks. The infrastructure is already active within major ecosystems, including partnerships with Kia, Volkswagen, Jaguar Land Rover, Cox Automotive, CDK Global, and DealerOn. By shifting the point of sale to the primary transaction phase, the company expects to help retailers capture revenue that previously slipped through the cracks of fragmented digital experiences.
