In the Heze Luxi New Area, Shandong HiTHIUM has launched its massive integrated industrial park, the world’s first facility purpose-built exclusively for long-duration energy storage. Spanning 80 hectares with a 13 billion RMB investment, the base marks a shift toward large-scale, automated production for the global renewable energy sector.
Technological efficiency remains the site’s primary competitive advantage. The plant utilizes fifth-generation production lines that boast a single-line capacity exceeding 15 GWh. With an automation rate surpassing 95% and AI-driven quality control across 1,000 checkpoints, the company reports a 58% reduction in labor requirements and a 50% decrease in floor space usage per GWh compared to older manufacturing methods. This infrastructure is designed to drive down costs while scaling production to meet surging international demand for lithium-based storage.
