Kibar Americas Launches Aluminum Production in West Virginia
A ribbon-cutting ceremony in Fairmont officially marked the start of production at the new Kibar Americas aluminum facility today. The Chicago-based company acquired the plant earlier this year, signaling a pivot toward localized manufacturing to serve the HVAC, automotive, and industrial sectors across the North American market.
Management views the facility as a cornerstone of its long-term growth. COO Atilla Çetinel emphasized that the plant allows the company to respond more fluidly to market demands, moving beyond simple distribution to active manufacturing. Göksal Güngör, Managing Director of Assan Alüminyum Group, added that the investment creates a more resilient global platform by balancing European R&D and production with a dedicated North American manufacturing base.
