Blockchain analytics firm Arkham Intelligence revealed that the bulk of the theft occurred during a 51-minute window on October 9, when the attacker seized $80.60 million. The perpetrator rapidly funneled assets through various swaps and bridges, moving at least $69.19 million across multiple networks. CryptoBilis Ledger Hack: $95 Million Stolen, $10 Million Frozen
A massive cryptocurrency drainer has siphoned $95.35 million from 1,486 addresses, with investigators confirming the attacker moved an additional $13.84 million in just the last 48 hours. The breach centers on tampered hardware wallets sold through the Southeast Asian reseller CryptoBilis, which contained unauthorized components designed to capture recovery phrases.

While the attacker still controls approximately $30.44 million in associated wallets, Tether successfully intervened to freeze $10 million in USDT on the Tron blockchain. The investigation links the losses directly to hardware wallets purchased via CryptoBilis. Ledger confirmed that unauthorized implants in these devices allowed for the theft of private keys, prompting the manufacturer to suspend authorized sales in the region and tighten security for its third-party resellers. Singaporean authorities have also launched investigations into similar cases, reporting losses of roughly $3.5 million from compromised devices in the area.
